How We Fact-Check Every AI-Generated Article

How We Fact-Check Every Article

We publish AI-generated content—but not without oversight. Every post on this site passes through a custom fact-checking pipeline designed to catch hallucinations, inflated claims, and vague generalizations before they reach your screen.

Our goal is simple: to make AI content trustworthy without losing its speed and scale.

What We’re Checking For

Our dedicated AI fact-checker reviews each article with one of two flags in mind:

  1. AI Credibility Check — when a sentence may have been hallucinated, overly confident, or unsupported by any source.
  2. Journalistic Note — when a statement sounds plausible but lacks clarity, citation, or proper context.

In both cases, the goal is the same: protect your trust by making sure every assertion is either supported or clarified.

How It Works

  1. We research each topic by gathering 3–5 high-quality articles from trusted publishers and primary sources.
  2. We extract factual snippets and notes from those articles—think stats, definitions, frameworks, or quotes.
  3. We then use AI agents to generate a draft blog post that pulls from those researched facts.
  4. Finally, a second AI agent reads the entire draft and flags any sentence that doesn’t clearly match the original research.

If an unsupported or vague claim is found, it gets reviewed or rewritten before publication.

What We Don’t Flag

We’re not the content police. This system isn’t here to rewrite every sentence—it’s focused purely on credibility risk.

  • We don’t flag personal opinions, especially when they’re clearly framed as lived experience or perspective.
  • We don’t flag widely accepted knowledge like “Water boils at 100°C” or “Burnout affects productivity.”
  • We don’t require every idea to be cited—just the ones that pose a risk of sounding made-up or misleading.

The goal isn’t to censor ideas—it’s to catch those moments where AI might invent a stat, quote a non-existent source, or present a vague claim as proven truth. We want every insight you read here to feel solid, supported, and worthy of your time.

What You’ll See on the Page

We don’t hide this process. You’ll notice certain phrases in our posts styled like this:

“94% of software outages are caused by misconfigured YAML files.”

This type of claim is oddly specific, sounds like a statistic, but is likely invented or unsupported—so it gets an AI Credibility Check.

Or like this:

“Most engineers say they were promoted to management without formal training.”

This type of claim might be based on real research, but without a source or clear framing, it gets a Journalistic Note.

Just hover or tap to see why that sentence was flagged. Every article on this site goes through automated fact-checking before it’s published—and many will be automatically re-evaluated over time as our systems improve. While content is not reviewed by a human editor, our AI pipelines are continuously refined to catch unsupported claims, vague stats, or potential hallucinations before they reach you.

Why It Matters

“AI can generate articles. But trust has to be earned—one post at a time.”

If we miss something, let us know. Our fact-checking process will continue to evolve—and improve—just like the technology that powers it.
